Our 7 HEI partnership - UL, UCC, UCD, TU Dublin, ATU, DCU, UoG is a national collaboration to connect the next generation of great civic leaders with community volunteering opportunities to impact the SDGs and grow a wide range of students' skills.

Most Innovative Digital Transformation

This award was won by StudentVolunteer.ie in recognition of its work in delivering a transformative digital project -  Platform+ - designed to modernise and unify student engagement infrastructure across Ireland. StudentVolunteer.ie’s core innovation was the integration of advanced digital technologies, cross‑sector data exchange, and human‑centred design to transform an existing limited system to one that operates as a national signposting and Sustainable Development Goals‑mapping platform for connecting third-level students with volunteering opportunities. In particular elements of this project were funded by the National Volunteering Strategy and the The Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht. StudentVolunteer.ie is hosted by the Student Affairs Division in UL on behalf of a partnership of seven higher education institutions – UL, TU Dublin, UCC, UCD, University of Galway, ATU and DCU.
