Nationwide, UCD community members are volunteering in numerous fantastic ways during the COVID-19 situation, and indeed prior to it. UCD Alumni Volunteering, UCD Volunteers Overseas and UCD in the Community invited members of the UCD community to submit a 'thank you' note to volunteers and the messages were shared on social media between 18 - 24 May.
Volunteers from across UCD were asked to submit a clip of themselves, completing the sentence "Volunteering makes me feel..." and the clips were compiled into the video below. Thank you to Healthy UCD and UCDVO for collaborating with us on the video! Through these uncertain times, we are grateful of the reminder that members of the UCD community continue to volunteer and give their time to others.
