The event took place at Kemmy Business School here in University of Limerick, and the second half took place over at AccessCampus, highlighting the significant contribution AccessCampus makes to the community.

The event was part of an Erasmus+ Staff Training Week, delivered by UL Global, Student Affairs, and UL Engage. Over 60 participants were in attendance, representing institutions in Ghana, Vietnam, Denmark, Morocco, Italy, France, Austria, Greece, Cyprus, Portugal, Sweden, and South Africa.

Participants engaged with practice‑based examples related to student wellbeing, volunteering, disability support, and inclusive services. The programme highlighted integrated approaches to student support, cross‑campus collaboration, and partnerships with local communities, schools, and external stakeholders that widen access and enhance student progression.

Through discussion, case studies, and peer exchange, participants explored how Student Affairs contribute to internationalisation at home, student success, and a strong sense of belonging, while responding to the diverse needs of today’s student population.

This was a fantastic day where Student Affairs had the opportunity to share the impactful work they do.
