This week to celebrate StudentVolunteer.ie winning the Most Innovative Digital Transformation Award at The Education Awards 2026, Student Volunteer Ireland Dr Lorraine Tansey came to University of Limerick to celebrate!
The platform connects 7 HEIs - UL, UCC, UCD, TU Dublin, ATU, DCU, UoG across Ireland providing students with the opportunities to volunteer and integrate with communities while supporting the Sustainable Development Goals.
StudentVolunteer.ie is hosted by the Student Affairs Division in UL, it was fantastic to bring our award to the campus! Especially during National Volunteering Week during the United Nations International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development!
