Requirements:Anyone who can play an instrument for alzheimer patients once a month for two hours. Social Club takes place first tuesday of every month.
We are currently seeking a volunteer who is gifted with an instrument to play for our social club once a month. This social club supports carers as well as clients with dementia. Its a very friendly group of tea, biscuits and chats and we are looking for the kindness of an individual to add to this experience for the members of the club once monthly.There are over 64,000 people in Ireland living with Dementia; this figure is set to double to over 150,000 by 2045.
Is training provided?: Yes
Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position which will be processed with you after you apply.
Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Play music for an hour or so
Skills required for this role:
Nice Friendly person who knows how to play music
Details of time commitment needed for role:
On Tuesday morning 11-1.00 once monthly
Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
