That’s Life is an award-winning arts and personal development programme of the Brothers of Charity Services, Galway and is seeking volunteer support for Bounce Club Night.
Bounce Club Night is a club night for people with intellectual disabilities. It takes place once a month on a Monday night in the Roisin Dubh, Galway city. Our aim is to create a fun, safe and accessible space for young adults with intellectual disabilities to socialise, listen to music and dance in a club environment. All our DJs and VJs with intellectual disabilities are supported by experienced Galway DJs and VJs and play a wide range of music including pop, rock, hip hop and rnb.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Meet the That’s Life team at the venue.
Assist with the event on the night and support those attending to have an enjoyable time.
Act as steward
You can dance if you want to!
Skills required for this role:
Good humoured, reliable, patience, good time keeper, likes music
Details of time commitment needed for role:
Once a month on a Monday night from circa 8pm - 10.30pm
Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
