About Us:JLF Island of Ireland, is slated for 22 -31 May 2026, encompassing the island for the first time, supported by the Government of Ireland.

Description

The iconic annual Jaipur Literature Festival, held each year in the Pink City of Jaipur, is the grand dame of all literary festivals worldwide. JLF International, which carries the Festival's grand arc, sparkle and spirit across continents, is well-entrenched as an inspiring literary series in the UK, USA and Europe. In 2026, JLF International makes its milestone advent into the Island of Ireland. The foundation for this landmark was laid in 2019 when JLF Belfast drew both a large attendee base and wide appreciation. The inaugural edition of JLF Island of Ireland, that will encompass the entire island for the first time, and is supported by the Government of Ireland and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, takes place from 22nd to 31st May 2026.  The festival will be a celebration of creativity, knowledge, books, ideas, music and art - distinct, rooted and global - set apart by the hallmark JLF camaraderie and the vibrant commingling of cultures that comes with the famed JLF caravan crossing a border for the very first time. JLF Island of Ireland will travel across the Island, making its first stop in Belfast from 22nd to 24th May, followed by Armagh on 26th and 27th May, Dundalk on 28th May, and finally in Dublin from 29th to 31st May.
