On June the 13th  we are calling on adventurous spirits and community heroes to get involved in an exciting charity abseil in support of Down Syndrome Limerick! Whether you’re ready to take the leap yourself or prefer to stay grounded and help as a marshal, your support can make a real difference. Abseilers will experience an unforgettable challenge while raising vital funds, and marshalls play a key role in ensuring the event runs safely and smoothly. No matter your role, you’ll be part of something inspiring—helping to empower and support individuals with Down syndrome and their families across Limerick. Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

Volunteers will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe running of the charity abseil event. Tasks may include registering and checking in participants, assisting with event setup and pack-down, guiding abseilers through the schedule, and providing general support and encouragement throughout the day. Marshalls will help manage crowd flow, ensure safety procedures are followed, and liaise with event coordinators where needed. Volunteers may also assist with directing attendees, answering queries, and helping to create a positive, welcoming atmosphere for all involved.
