About Us:Order of Malta Dundrum is seeking new volunteers for first aid, community and youth work. No experience necessary, all training is provided.




Description

The Order of Malta Ambulance Corps provides first aid, emergency care, and community services to our local community, across Dublin and nationally. We welcome student volunteers who want to develop new skills, support others and be part of a team dynamic.

Is training provided?:Yes

Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position which will be processed with you after you apply.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

There are many opportunities depending on your individual interests.

First aid and ambulance services involves providing medical cover for events ranging from local sports and community events, to concerts in the 3Arena, Horse Racing, outdoor festivals and much more.

Community care involves support and outreach to the elderly, vulnerable people, and supporting community organisations.

Youth training and development, our Cadets offer training to 10-16 year olds on first aid, nursing skills and more.

Details of time commitment needed for role:
Training Tuesday 8pm – 9.30pm, otherwise flexible as suits you regarding volunteering for specific events.

Minimum time commitment per week:
Flexible/Varies

Additional screening required for this role::
Garda Vetting, and completion of minimum training on joining
