As a network member, you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Connect with likeminded staff and students 

  • Develop skills in communication, project management, and leadership 

  • Enhance your CV and become a sustainability role model 

  • Collaborate across disciplines, departments, and campuses 

  • Have access to special grants to run sustainability-related events or activities (e.g.: Green Week 2026 Micro-grant) 

  • Represent your campus at the Green-CampusCampus Committee as a Staff Lead or Student Lead 

Is training provided?:Yes

Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position which will be processed with you after you apply.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

TU Dublin plan to renew our Green Flag award at the end of 2026 under the major themes of Transport and Travel, and Biodiversity, and maintaining the previously awarded themes of Litter and Waste and Energy as minor themes.

Our flagship events are great opportunities to get involved in what the Green-Campus does: Green Week, Biodiversity Week and Climate Action Week are some of them.

We're always open to ideas on how we can enhance sustainability on campus!
