The IAMCR 2026 central theme, Peripheries and Connections: Media, Communication, and Transformation, addresses the complexities of contemporary media systems in a polarised and interconnected world. By emphasising intersections between the global and the local, IAMCR 2026 will provide a platform for reimagining media’s role in addressing critical challenges such as climate change, migration, representation, and digital inequalities.

We invite student to assist with directions and general delegate queries (briefing will be provided) throughout this international event with 2000 expected participants. There may be an opportunity to join sessions if capacity allows.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

 - directions (navigating campus effectiently across the various buildings)

 - general delegate queries

Details of time commitment needed for role:
27.06. first day will be focused on directions as participants try to navigate the campus 28.06 - 02.07. Throughout the day - peaks during breaks AM or PM commitment would be ideal
