Matchnight Volunteer Opportunities – Treaty United FC

Treaty United FC is currently recruiting reliable and enthusiastic volunteers to support general matchnight operations.

These roles are ideally suited to UL students interested in gaining practical experience in live event delivery, sport, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with general stewarding duties on matchdays
  • Supporting crowd management and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for supporters
  • Assisting with ticket scanning and entry points
  • Providing information and guidance to attendees
  • Supporting the overall organisation and smooth running of matchnight operations

Volunteers are required to be available on Friday and Saturday evenings in line with fixture schedules.

This is a valuable opportunity to gain experience in event management, develop teamwork and communication skills, and contribute to community-focused sporting events.

Volunteers will receive two complimentary season passes, Treaty United FC merchandise, the opportunity to complete a Safeguarding 1 qualification, and a work reference upon completion.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

Volunteers will support a range of matchnight responsibilities, including general stewarding duties such as welcoming supporters and helping to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment, assisting at entry points with ticket scanning and crowd flow management, working in the club tuck shop serving customers and handling basic transactions, and supporting the merchandise shop through sales, stock organisation, and customer interaction. Volunteers may also provide information and directions to supporters around the stadium, while assisting staff with general setup and coordination to ensure the smooth running of matchnight operations
