Together Media is a project by Learn Together CIC, a Community Interest Company based in Manchester UK. The project supports volunteers to develop media, communication, and digital storytelling skills while helping create accessible content around social issues such as homelessness, inequality, mental health, community challenges, and public awareness topics.
This is a flexible remote volunteering opportunity suited to students interested in media, journalism, social issues, community work, communications, or content creation. No professional experience is required, just reliability, curiosity, and an interest in creating meaningful and responsible content.

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
Volunteers may help research social issue topics, prepare scripts or talking points, suggest content ideas, record short explainer-style videos, and contribute to podcast or interview-style discussions where appropriate.
Depending on interests and skills, volunteers may also support with editing, production planning, or social media content. All content is developed through a supervised process and should be based on trusted sources.

Details of time commitment needed for role:
This is a flexible remote volunteering role. We would ideally ask volunteers to contribute around 2 hours per week, depending on their availability and the type of content they are involved in.
